Following a business presentation sponsored by Optics the Managing Director of Founders Investment Banking, Duane Donner asked John Manwell to work with the Founders senior team at a team building and strategy day.
John joined the strategy day with the business partners and observed the team at work as well as contributing to some of the strategy discussions.
In a dedicated session John reflected to the partners some insights and comments on the team and its dynamics. During the day John was also able to challenge some assumptions and identify some essential development areas for the business structure and processes.
John found that he was able to work well with the team and quickly get up to speed with their stage of development and challenges ahead.
Next Steps: Following the success of the initial day together, the team at Founders have engaged John to work with them through 2007 to develop their business strategy further, with specific emphasis on the team’s own development and the organisation change that is needed to enable the planned revenue growth.
